the write up is fine, so to make a press release so we can use it, copy that into a word doc, or open office doc, or even a google doc for sharing. In order to be a press release, there is a format that the publishers understand. Your statement about the show is fine, also please add a paragraph about the artist, where he's from, his history, where hes shown, what medium he works in, any recognizable organizations he works with ets. . .
THEN Add a paragraph to the BEGINING of the release with a short paragraph just stating the facts. "Please join us for an opening recept. . . when, where, who how much, etc. To the point Second the artist STATEMENT THIRD the artist BIO, and last a short paragraph about your space/gallery the organizers etc. . . include (again) location, address. THAT would make it a press release. Then add two clean and perfect images (of the art) one verticle and one horizontal at least 1200px at 100% on the long side. An added bonus would be if you added a clean photo of the artist in his studio. Make it horizontal and 1200px at 100%
