Mark Roden
Mark Roden is one of the two co-founders of JoMar Visions. Born in San Antonio, Texas, and following the artistic vein of his father, Roden is a fine art photographer since 2001 and painter since 2011. He has had gallery affiliations as an artist with Eastman Gallery in Houston TX and Zen Art Space in the Houston Galleria.
In 2010 Roden co-founded JoMar Visions, LLC providing a venue for local artists to showcase their art and supporting the local art community.
In 2011, Roden was invited to be a juror for the “Show Us Your City Center” exhibit in Houston TX.
In 2013 Roden was invited to be a juror of Four Points Contemporary Biennial Juried Competition as well as the "Art of Space and Science" with exhibition at the NASA's Johnson Space Center.
In 2014 he is invited to jury at the Galveston Art league Juried competition and celebrates the achievement of JoMar Visions as Best Art Gallery by the Houston A-list voters. In 2017 he is a finalist of Biennale Peschiera del Garda competition and he is invited to be a juror at Rockstar gallery "Every Summer Has a Story" competition.
His work can be found in several private collections in the USA, England and Portugal.
