Felipe Esparza aka Art Dsparzaf
Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, Esparza moved to the United States in 2004, initiating his art experience with oils. Later he finds other mediums to express himself with acrylic, charcoal, glass, wood, metal, other mixed media and photography.
His necessity of expression has no racional explanation. It is intimate, instinctive and an internal impulse that is born from the depth of the artist' soul and expressed externally through his art.
Felipe Esparza art can be personal, about reality and other people, or simply about the human emotion.
Esparza was awarded 4th place honorable mention with his piece "The Joker" at JoMar Visions Art Excellence Juried Competition 2016. In 2017 he is a finalist of Biennale Peschiera del Garda competition and in 2018 he was awarded 3rd place at the JoMar Visions Art Excellence Juried Competition with his piece "Elephant Joker".
The artist is based in Houston, where he had created most of his work. The next step in his art expression goes to more three dimensional works, the artist says.
